The Lumeneye laser pipeline scanner is a 6000m depth rated high definition 3D rendering system specifically designed to be used in the assessment of pipeline integrity.
ROV or diver deployed, integrated laser profilers scan up to 360 degrees coverage around the pipeline circumference in a single measurement, eliminating the need to take multiple scans from different locations. The scanner delivers micron-accurate surface topographic data over an area up to 2m x 25m allowing the measurement of entire pipe sections in a single scan. The collected data is then turned into a 3D point cloud model.
3D data is recorded as a series of x,y,z coordinates in ASCII format for greatest flexibility; our clients typically continue their own investigation using our data imported into a 3rd party FEA package.
